Faecal Egg Count (FEC) is a method of determining how many internal parasite Eggs are present in a particular dung sample. It may also be possible to determine the different types of worms or other parasites present.
If eggs are found in a fecal sample it shows that worms are present in the animal.
Simply send a stool sample off directy to Feclab. They will test the sample and confirm whether worms or not.
Saves using both expensive wormers & unnecessary chemicals.

Feclab's worm kit includes all you need to screen for the following types of worms in cats or dogs:
- Tapeworm
- Roundworm
- Hookworm
- Coccidia
- Whipworm
- Giardia Cyst: Under our Intestinal worm count kit we screen for Giardia. It is worth noting that this is reliant on the cyst being present within the sample provided. If your pet is showing symptoms relating to Giardia or if you would like to specifically test for Giardia as part of your routine screening then we would recommend using our Giardia Antigen lab testing or Giardia Antigen Rapid home testing kit for this.
